In March Horsham District Council took the decision to use the Fields in Trust scheme to protect our park in perpetuity. Leading up to this decision, Fields in Trust provided extensive guidance and support to the Friends as we campaigned, and to the Council on the best way of using their scheme.
These services were provided free, including their own legal fees.
That’s why we want to raise money to help them cover the costs of supporting other green spaces seeking protection. They are a vital charity ensuring quality green space remains available across the country.
