Be part of #BigGardenBirdWatch. Simply choose an hour between 27 and 29 January and count the birds you see land in your garden, on your balcony, or even in Horsham park. Then report what you saw. Even if you saw nothing, it still counts.

In partnership with Friends of Horsham Park and Age UK, West Sussex, Brighton & Hove, Whistlestop Arts secured Covid-19 recovery funding from Sussex Community Partnership.

The funding has enabled us to research, design and create a Virtual Day Trip focusing on Horsham Park. The main aim is to highlight Covid-19 safe spaces, accessible to all, that encourage residents and visitors to explore Horsham Park and the wider area.

The day trip sessions are based around a bespoke film that we made and include interviews with a wide variety of people connected to the Park. It showcases the many fascinating areas within it; such as the Sensory Garden, Tree Trail, Kaya Café, Pavilions and the Bowls Club, a wealth of diverse opportunities that are available to visitors.
