Asset-of-Community-Value-Nomination-Form FOHP 2024
In July 2024, the Friends applied to renew the 2019 award of ‘Asset of Community Value’ for Horsham Park. It is a form of protection for the park for a five year term.
The Council will evaluate our application and decide if the park can keep its special status as a valued asset within the community.
We are currently working towards having the park protected in perpetuity with Fields in Trust status. If successful, it will no longer be necessary to have to renew the asset of community value status.
The attached document is a copy of the nomination form we have submitted. It is anticipated that the decision will be announced in the Autumn of 2024.
